Campbell Leaf Earrings

Campbell Leaf Earrings

½” x 1 ¾” leaf plus ¾” earwire

This leaf is my all-time favorite in the collection, yet I have no idea of the name of the plant. The leaf texture in this earring is tinier and more detailed than any other leaf I feature.   Earwires are sterling silver in a modern, rounded shape.  Each leaf is Argentium silver, a sterling alloy that is more tarnish-resistant than traditional sterling silver. The shimmering patina brings out the intricate textures of the leaf vein structure.

The Campbell leaf was molded at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina, where I took my very first metal clay class.

Each Studio McManus creation is lovingly gift-wrapped with care instructions and information about how the piece was made. Silver pieces include a small silver polishing cloth.
